Este es el primer disco de esta gran banda Trivium era originalmente una banda del metalcore, como se oye en sus primeros dos discos. Recientemente, han desarrollado un sonido thrash metal según lo oído en su álbum más reciente. Trivium, es un significado latino del término "las tres maneras" o "los tres caminos".
